MICHAEL ROCHFORD is a graduate of Melbourne University, Michael has a double major in music education and has 20+ years of  music teaching, along with his professional performances. Michael has played in all genres including orchestral, rock and funk bands, jazz groups and theatre and cabaret. 

As well as appearing on all major TV stations, Michael has accompanied, toured or recorded with international and local acts including  Elvis to the Max, The Drifters, Mark Levine, Don Burrows, Sheila Jordan, Australian Showband, Tony Gould, Joe Chindamo, New Caledonia Jazz Festival, Australian Jazz Festival Awards, Ruby Page, Michelle Nicole, Christine Sullivan, Alison Wedding, Nina Ferro, Joe Camilleri & others.

Michael appeared as an outstanding guest player for Grand WaZoo - Kings of Soul for many years, before taking over the Drum chair in 2008, and we are delighted to have him in the line-up.  Michael is endorsed by Pearl drums.
